Rose Rebel wine label rebrand

Illustrations for three elements that can be used in the rebranding of a chosen wine from a given list of Black owned businesses. The three elements included an illustrative label, a pattern for gift wrapping and a brand take-away. 

To redesign, embolden and reinvigorate the current Rose Rebel wine from Black Elephant vintners, through the portrayal of powerful and bold womxn from South Africa’s past and present. The illustration style  was inspired by a local South African artist and speaks of revolutionary posters. The pattern is based off the shapes that feature in the portrait illustrations and the brand take-away is a sewable material patch.
